Bookmakers fancy Carlisle United for at least a play-off place with less than a month until the new League Two season gets under way.
The latest title and promotion prices see the Blues as fifth favourites to win the league with several bookies.
Carlisle are 11/1 to finish top of the fourth tier with SkyBet and BetFred.
Favourites to win the division are newly-promoted Chesterfield, who are 6/1 and 15/2 respectively with the same bookmakers.
MK Dons are 15/2 second favourites with SkyBet, and 8/1 with BetFred.
United's opening-day opponents Gillingham are also fancied for a strong season, with title odds of 8/1.
Doncaster Rovers, who like MK missed out in the play-offs last season, are priced 9/1 while Port Vale, who have recruited heavily so far this summer, are 11/1 shots.
Paul Simpson's United are given a better chance of success by bookies than their former play-off rivals Bradford City, who are 12/1 for the title with SkyBet and 14/1 with BetFred.
Others with longer odds than the Cumbrians include two of their other fellow relegated clubs Fleetwood Town and Cheltenham Town, who are 22/1 and 25/1 respectively.
Carlisle's longest title odds are currently 14/1 offered by a number of bookmakers including 888Sport and Ladbrokes.
Outsiders, meanwhile, are Danny Grainger's Morecambe, who are 150/1 for the title. Newly-promoted Bromley are 100/1. Barrow are 33/1 to lift the League Two championship.
If you fancy United to be promoted by any route, 11/4 (Ladbrokes) is the best current price, with Carlisle as short as 7/4 (Betfair) for promotion.
The Cumbrians are 3/1 to make the play-offs, and 14/1 to win them in a repeat of 2022/23's success.
A top-three finish for the Blues is 4/1, with a top-seven place 6/5.
United to finish in the top half on their return to the fourth tier is priced 4/9, while they are 7/4 to finish the highest of the four relegated clubs.
