Former Carlisle United loan striker Joshua Kayode has made a League One move before the new season.
The Rotherham United frontman has joined Shrewsbury Town.
A season-long loan deal has been struck for the 24-year-old to join Paul Hurst's Salop squad.
He was made available for a move at the end of last season by his parent club, who are also in League One after last season's relegation from the Championship.
The man whose spell with United last season was ruined by injury now gets his latest chance in the third tier.
Kayode will team up with former Carlisle man Morgan Feeney at the Croud Meadow.

🤩 JJ put pen to paper in Yorkshire today but will be at the Croud Meadow tomorrow for our friendly against Derby.
Story with quotes from Paul Hurst 👇#Salop 🔷🔶
He has joined ahead of Saturday's friendly against Derby County. Manager Hurst told the Shrews' website: "JJ is a player I have been aware of for a long time.
"He has had a few loan moves with varying success. And in recent times, he hasn’t got the amount of games he would have liked.
"He has had a good pre-season with Rotherham and joins us hungry and keen to show what he can do.
"JJ is a player that can play in different positions across the front line. He’s quick, strong, athletic and has an eye for goal.
"He has represented Ireland at under-21 level and is a young player that still has ambitions to play for his country at senior level."
The big striker had three loan spells at Carlisle since 2020 but his return in 2023/24 did not work out.
He suffered a shoulder injury in his first appearance of last season and that, plus a calf injury, kept him out of action from September to April.
Kayode, who had joined the Blues on summer transfer deadline day, made just four appearances during the season.
He made himself unavailable for Carlisle's last two games of the campaign.
United boss Paul Simpson at the time said he was unable to divulge the reasons for Kayode's decision.
Rotherham boss Steven Evans insisted Kayode's withdrawal from the squad to face Wycombe Wanderers and Derby County was not at the insistence of the Millers.
