Cumbrian speedway star Dan Bewley secured another superb British Grand Prix win last weekend.
The Maryport born star won at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for the second time in three years, securing his fourth GP win in total, with Robert Lambert taking runners-up spot on the night.
The duo had combined last month to make Great Britain World Champions in the FIM Speedway of Nations in Manchester, before pulling off this sensational result in their home GP.
Birmingham captain Fredrik Lindgren finished third, with Polish racer Dominik Kubera fourth.
The rest lifts Lambert to second in the overall standings, 21 points behind leader Bartosz Zmarzlik who did not reach the Final for the first time this season.
Bewley is up to seventh with four rounds remaining, as he continued his extraordinary 100 per cent record of winning Finals.
He said: "Four Finals and four wins – what a weekend. Winning the Sprint Race yesterday was a bit of a weird feeling after because it’s like, what now?
"But what a night – it was a bit touch and go on even making the semi, all on countback, but it’s been an awesome weekend.
"I’ve seen so many people with my T-shirts on and I can’t thank them enough for the support.
"It’s been a trying year, but it’s turning around. I feel like I’ve probably been a bit hard to work for this year for the boys, I just haven’t really got comfortable, but they’ve believed in me and kept working, and it’s starting to pay off."
