Josh Emmanuel has become the second ex-Carlisle United player to join Doncaster Rovers.
The former Blues defender has signed for the Yorkshire club on a short-term deal.
It sees him link up with fellow ex-United man Jordan Gibson at the League Two club.
Right-sided Emmanuel was a free agent after being released by Carlisle at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old has been on trial with Grant McCann's squad and has now put pen to paper.
“I’m really excited to get going,” Emmanuel said.
“I was with the gaffer at Hull and I’m grateful for the opportunity that he and Cliffy [Byrne, assistant manager] have given me by bringing me in.

“You can’t beat training with the lads again and I’ve really enjoyed it. I knew a few of the lads before I came in and I’ve settled in really well.”
Emmanuel made 14 appearances after joining Carlisle last November.
He was the Blues' first signing after the Piatak takeover was completed at Brunton Park.
The defender has also played for Ipswich Town, Crawley Town, Shrewsbury Town, Rotherham United, Bolton Wanderers, Hull City and Grimsby Town.
McCann, speaking on the Donny website, added of the ex-Carlisle man: “He is someone I know well and I know exactly what he is capable of.
"He’s in a really good condition and we have done numerous tests with him to see where’s at physically. He’s in a good place.
“He adds competition to the defensive area. He’s a very good character, has been part of successful teams and loves to win.
“He has very good attributes with his pace, power and is strong in duels, one-v-ones both for and against, so he ticks a lot of boxes in what we like.”
Both Emmanuel and Gibson are due to face their former club this season when Carlisle host Doncaster on November 23.
The Yorkshire side are currently fifth in League Two after four games.
