Carlisle United fell to a 2-1 defeat to Bradford City - how did we rate the players at Valley Parade?
HARRY LEWIS - 6
Second-half double save the highlight of his display at his former club. Shouldn't be blamed for pass to Mellish in build-up to opener - United were instructed to play that way.
ARCHIE DAVIES - 6
A couple of important interceptions and blocks, got forward at times but deliveries didn't pay off. 6
BEN WILLIAMS - 6
Little chance to have an impact on the game as knee injury curtailed his afternoon after just nine minutes. Keep everything crossed it isn't serious.
JON MELLISH - 4
Not a day the defender will remember fondly, his poor control costly for Cook's opener, some other difficult moments then unable to restrain Cook as he leapt for winner.
TERELL THOMAS - 6
Defender's timing was good on certain occasions when Bradford threatened, and United were not as aerially strong or dominant after he went off.
HARRISON NEAL - 5
Was often unable to move the ball sharply enough as Bradford's midfield got around United, though he did score Carlisle's fortunate equaliser.
JOSH VELA - 5
Made a few promising runs but there wasn't enough substance about United's midfield showing in general and Vela couldn't do enough to get on top of Bradford.
HARRISON BIGGINS - 6
Showed some signs of quality and moments of enterprise on debut, and Carlisle might have had a better chance had they got him into the game a little more often.
JORDAN JONES - 6
Often the man to the fore of United's comeback attempts, particularly in the first half when his ball-striking put Bradford on notice. But couldn't quite do enough/
DOMINIC SADI - 6
An encouraging full league debut, Sadi showing some elusive touches and finding some decent positions without any of them fully paying off. But a bright showing overall.
CHARLIE WYKE - 4
Was signed first and foremost for his goals yet the wait goes on for his first this season, one second-half miss in particular summing up his efforts in front of the target right now.
Subs: Cameron Harper - 6 - Offered decent width in place of Williams.
Sam Lavelle - 5 - Did little wrong but United were weaker without Thomas.
Luke Armstrong - 5 - Another cameo of little impact.
Dylan McGeouch - 5 - Frustrating late spell for midfielder.
Star man - Dominic Sadi - Gave Carlisle some moments of imagination and, along with Jones, was closest to making this a better day for United.
