Carlisle United fans gave us their thoughts on X after the 2-1 defeat to Bradford City - here's a selection of their comments...
Definitely better going forward. Biggins, Jones and Sadi look better. However, defensively, we are poor. Too many unforced errors and some poor decisions on clearing the ball. Whoever takes over has to stop this leaking of goals. We're all desperate for a boost in confidence. (@BruceVander)
Am really worried, Bradford were bang average and they were better than us, although some improvement we make so many unforced errors, we're shipping goals on piece, and these are tough days for the Blues (@matty017)
A small step closer, but sadly silly mistakes are still the signature of our football, plus, I would not consider that our first team today, but the shape is much more productive. (@MarkWard18)
Great first half from 4th minute onward. Sadi looks fab. Wyke is not cutting it at the moment. Hope Thomas isn’t now out with a hamstring injury. (@Loujanesla)
Gifted them the game through our own mistakes, they didn't do anything special and their goals came from our soft passes not getting to the target. We didn't look bad going forward and fighting for the scrappy balls was better (@DavidJav9954)
New coach can't come soon enough. Big job for them to get us away from danger and make us competitive in this league. Still no goals this season from any of the strikers on our books. (@MikeEwins)
We played ok but are still creating very little in the final third. That coupled with a leaky defence, and it's a worry. Signs of a change in style which is welcome but we still lack pace. Biggins looked good, Sadi only going to get better, but we need more from Wyke and Jones. (@BenJoseph0157)
Another promising performance with a depressing outcome. I like the new approach and formation and it will need time to fully click. Still not creating clear chances for the forwards. Pleased for Lewis that he had a good game and made some great saves (@tim_martland)
These repeated unforced errors i.e. gifting the oppo the ball has to stop. Some of the playing out at the back is incredibly dangerous too. Midfield virtually non-existent. A few positive signs tho. (@FyldeVandal)
Can’t argue with the result, Bradford had more clear-cut chances and scored two of them. Our goal was a fluke. Signs of improvement but we look leaky at the back and not incisive enough up front. Team continues to be less than the sum of its parts. (@mlgraham73)
Thought we were the better side but at the end of the day it’s another loss. Bradford were there for the taking. The squad is there & I don’t get those who say it’s worse, it’s really not. Should’ve got something. Need a manager/head coach in asap to stop to the losing culture. (@AdWhitfield94(
Much of the same. Signs of good football, but poor decisions keep letting us down. We can't keep giving the ball away when playing out from the back. We need the ball releasing quicker in attack too - too many runs that end up smothered by opposition defenders: make the pass. (@EarnThtDanegeld)
Best 45 of the season but it came yet again after a howler in defence. I’m a fan of the new possession based approach. We played some great stuff at times and played better football than Bradford, but we were always chasing the game and ran out of steam after we levelled… (@MarkWhitfield2)
Same old, same old. Might have been a better performance but no points at end of it. It's OK saying everything will be OK but we need points on the board. Same crack every week folk saying next week will be different. I'm not convinced..... (@PaulLighty24910)
Slight improvement but still way off acceptable, Defence too prone to costly mistakes, midfield slow and predictable, and forwards not sharp enough. There is a long way to go until this group improve. I wish the new head coach the best of luck. (@peterjo91525330)
Glimpses of hope at best, absolutely zero pace in that team, silly errors costing us yet again, big big job for the new manager, 3 points from 5 games is a complete disaster (@cufccraig1983)
Wyke’s moving from “not if but when” to “not when but if” territory, which is a problem - created enough for a point, but there’s no composure in that side right now (passing or shooting) and that’s a big thing to correct. (@HYFPRW)
Sadi and Biggins our 2 best players, Wyke missed 2 sitters, new manager as soon has possible (@GeoffRo39583097)
Players need to wake up. Leaders need to lead, forwards need to score, and defenders need to stop making stupid mistakes. (@carlisl9125)
Slight improvement, but individual errors, and concentration seem 2 b an ongoing issue post Simmo (@MSef2304)
Heads didn't go down. Crying out for a goal scorer. Silly mistakes for both goals. Biggins looks decent. Just need a manager now. (@FeelingHoly)
Individual mistakes cost us the game , but we need to regroup and get the new manager in asap so he's got plenty of time to turn this season around (@cmackay414)
Made a lot of our own problems! Need to win more 2nd balls in midfield and upfront was a little toothless (@ByronStobbart)
Decent and a whole lot better than last week. Players fighting for a badge but undone by stupid individual errors. Not sure if Armstrong is the answer long term mind as he offers nothing to the team (@bruntonblue10)
