Carlisle United will be hoping it's a case of lucky 13 when the FA Cup first round draw is made on Monday.

That is the ball number the Blues have been allocated in the first round proper.

The draw is scheduled to be made from 7pm on Monday evening (October 14) and held at Bradford City's Valley Parade.

United and their fellow League One and Two clubs enter the draw at this stage.

The Cumbrians will be hoping to progress to the second round in 2024/25 having fallen at the first hurdle last season when they lost 3-1 to Leyton Orient.

The 48 third and fourth-tier sides will be joined in the draw by 32 non-league teams, with the fourth qualifying round ties being played this weekend.

Carlisle's fellow Cumbrian side Barrow are ball number 4.

The draw will be televised live on BBC 2. The first round ties will be played on the weekend of November 1-4.
