Carlisle United are odds-on to hand Mike Williamson his first home win today - and banish their Harrogate Town jinx in the process.

The Blues are yet to chalk up their first points at Brunton Park under their new head coach - while they have never beaten Harrogate in the league.

Yet bookmakers BetFred make United 9/10 for victory this afternoon, with odds of 10/11 offered by Ladbrokes.

Simon Weaver's Sulphurites are 16/5 (BetFred) to heap more misery on Williamson's bottom-placed side with an away win today. 888Sport make a Harrogate victory 3/1.

The draw is 27/10.

Luke Armstrong will today face his former club for the first time since his move from Harrogate to Carlisle in January.

The striker is 6/1 to open the scoring for United today, and 23/10 to find the net at any time against Weaver's side - while an Armstrong hat-trick against his old employers is 125/1.

Charlie Wyke is 11/2 to strike first for Carlisle, with Dominic Sadi 10/1. Longer shots for the opener in the United ranks include Harrison Biggins at 12/1, Taylor Charters at 16/1, Cameron Harper at 33/1 and the returning Terell Thomas at 33/1.

For Harrogate, the experienced Jack Muldoon is 10/1 for the opener, with both Matty and James Daly 11/1. Ellis Taylor 12/1, Dean Cornelius 33/1 and Jasper Moon 66/1.

Carlisle's last home encounter with the Sulphurites was a 1-0 defeat in February 2023 when Paul Huntington's own-goal proved decisive.

Harrogate are 11/1 for a repeat, while a 1-0 win for the Blues is priced 13/2.

Williamson's side have odds of 15/2 for a 2-1 home win, with a 2-0 victory 17/2.

The visitors are 22/1 to win 2-0, while the prospect of a second successive 4-0 reverse for United is priced 175/1.

A first Brunton Park clean sheet under Williamson for the Blues is 13/8.
