Carlisle United drew 1-1 at home with Harrogate Town – how did we rate the players at Brunton Park?
HARRY LEWIS – 6
Little keeper could do as Daly arrived for opener. Punched well at crosses, Blues’ playing out not always clean but they were largely safe.
TERELL THOMAS – 6
Back from international duty, defender often found early space on right to support United’s attacking, while defensively didn’t do much wrong.
SAM LAVELLE – 6
Had the captain’s armband with Wyke benched, the defender played a largely steady hand even if United’s defending had a few uncertain moments later.
JON MELLISH – 6
On the front foot in first half as he combined with Charters and Harper. A couple of shaky moments later as Harrogate tried to pounce.
CAMERON HARPER – 7
Showed some confidence in his attacking movements and was often a good outlet, although final ball never quite came off.
DOMINIC SADI – 7
Often looked the player who might unlock something with his movement and skill, put Harrogate on back foot but the finish wouldn’t come.
CALLUM GUY – 7
His first start for just short of a year, and Carlisle’s foundations looked better for his involvement, until he was substituted in second half.
HARRISON NEAL – 7
Looked up for the contest and certainly didn’t shy from anything – and one late intervention was vital to deny Harrogate a late winner.
HARRISON BIGGINS – 6
Started to the right of Armstrong and looked to pick up opportunities in pockets, kept going to the end but without success.
TAYLOR CHARTERS - 6
Gave Carlisle more balance on the left of the attack and offered more variety. Understandably faded but good to have him back.
LUKE ARMSTRONG – 6
Showed good awareness and persistence to claim Carlisle’s quick equaliser, work rate undeniable but little else fell his way.
Subs: Tyler Burey – 6 – Debut after signing, a couple of potential moments but looked rusty.
Ethan Robson – 6 – Some good signs of his ball-playing quality.
Charlie Wyke – 6 – Heavily involved in late flurries but not quite sharp enough to make most of breaks.
Jack Robinson – 6 – Combative involvement on right.
Star man – Harrison Neal – On a day which was eventually frustrating in attack, Neal played a good and determined hand in keeping United secure.
