Carlisle United loan striker Daniel Adu-Adjei has returned to action for his parent club ahead of his Blues comeback.
The 19-year-old, who has been sidelined since early September with a knee injury, played for AFC Bournemouth's development squad on Thursday night.
Adu-Adjei came off the bench in the 59th minute of the young Cherries side's 2-2 draw at Swansea.
News of the frontman's first outing since his recovery will offer a boost to United head coach Mike Williamson as he prepares to welcome the young loanee back to Brunton Park.
Adu-Adjei, speaking after the game via Bournemouth's official channels, said: "It feels great to be back on the pitch.
"I got on the ball quite a bit, it's great to get my fitness back and be back around the lads."

The striker added that he is keen to return and help the struggling Cumbrians' cause in League Two.
"[They] are not doing too great at the moment but hopefully I can help them get back to where we should be in the table.
"I'm glad I'm back and can't wait to get back up there."
It now remains to be seen whether Adu-Adjei will make an immediate return to the first-team reckoning at Carlisle ahead of this weekend's clash with Cheltenham Town.
But the second-bottom Blues will be delighted the young forward is poised to return to their attacking options.
Adu-Adjei, who is on a season-long loan, made six appearances and scored one goal before suffering the knee injury in September that has ruled him out of action since then.
His third United appearance saw the striker score the winner in Carlisle's 1-0 home win over fellow Cumbrians Barrow.
The striker has yet to be available to Williamson, his injury occurring after the first game following Paul Simpson's departure.
