Carlisle's previous trips to Salford have also seen bumper travelling support, with 1,315 away fans watching the Blues' 4-1 win on their last visit in November 2022.
Some 958 travelling fans watched the previous campaign's 2-1 defeat. Their only other trip, in February 2021, was a 1-1 draw behind closed doors during the Covid-affected campaign.
Carlisle's next league game will see them desperate for a positive result after the slump which has seen them four points adrift of safety in League Two in second bottom position.
They will take on a Salford side sitting 13th under Karl Robinson, 11 points above the Blues having played a game fewer.
The Ammies have won four and lost three at home so far in 2024/25. Their squad includes the former United pair of James Chester and Cole Stockton.
Carlisle have acknowledged the impressive show of away-day support in spite of the team's recent results.
"This is truly remarkable support and we cannot thank you enough for sticking behind the team," the club said.
The game at the Peninsula Stadium will kick off at 12.30pm, with the game being shown live on Sky Sports +.
