Carlisle United's players met scores of young fans as part of the club and Tullie's 'festival of football'.
Brunton Park and Tullie both hosted events and activities on Wednesday.
After an open training session at the club, players then visited Tullie in the afternoon.
They took part in an autograph session as large queues of young supporters and families formed at the city's museum and gallery.
Nearly all the first-team squad was there, along with head coach Mike Williamson and his coaching staff.
Despite the team's ongoing struggles on the pitch in League Two, it proved a popular half-term event as Williamson and the players signed autographs and posed for photos.
The Tullie event took place in the 'Backing the Blues' United history exhibition area.
The exhibition has been running since July and ends on November 10, before some of the exhibits are taken on tour to various venues in the community.
It is then intended that a museum will be established at Brunton Park.
Fans were allowed to ride on the team coach from Brunton Park to Tullie, with the coach also transporting the players from the ground to the city venue.

The only senior first-team players not at the signing event were the injured pair of Charlie Wyke and Jordan Jones.
The Tullie event gave supporters the chance to view the 'Backing the Blues' exhibition which has proved popular since it opened three months ago.
