A new walking football club officially launched in Wigton on November 4.
A group of 17 were in attendance for the first session at Wigton Rugby Club earlier this week.
Organiser Joe Cosby said: "I’m really pleased to say we had a group of 17 join us for our first session at Wigton Rugby Club on Monday, with everyone reporting they’d enjoyed it and would be back next week.
"We started with a quick warm up and passing drill before playing 3 x 12 minute segments, with a final score of 2-0!
"With male and female players aged 30-80, walking football is a great way for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game at a slower pace. Sessions will continue to run throughout November and we will advertise future dates as soon as possible."
Sessions adhere to four basic rules of no running, no contact, no overhead height and no more than three touches at a time.
