It follows the decision of the long-serving Alastair Woodcock to step down.
He has been involved since the formation of the trust back in 2001.
The trust are inviting expressions of interest in the position.
They say the secretary will need skills in the areas of organisational/diary keeping and note-taking, as well as liaising with the trust treasurer.

The trust board have paid tribute to Woodcock for his long service.
The lifelong Blues fan, who founded the original CUFC Online website back in 1995, had a spell as a trust board member before continuing in his role as secretary.
The trust board said Woodcock had given an "incredible stint" and brought "a lot of knowledge" to the role and the trust.
"He goes with the thanks of all who have been involved down the years," the trust board added.
The trust, who have a ten per cent voting share in United's Holdings company, have issued their appeal for interest in the secretary role ahead of their annual general meeting on December 1.
