Carlisle United drew 1-1 at Bromley – so how did we rate the players at Hayes Lane?
GABE BREEZE – 6
The young keeper had to have his wits about him as Bromley piled early crosses in, and he did most of his duties soundly and without risk.
BEN BARCLAY – 6
Back in the side, the defender was largely composed on the right and also played a hand in United’s late fightback.
SAM LAVELLE – 7
Another sound display from the masked skipper, who denied Cheek any real chances in open play, and was combative under aerial assault.
JON MELLISH – 6
Made a couple of important challenges, and added energy to the fightback, but was easily beaten in the build-up to Bromley’s penalty.
BEN WILLIAMS – 6
Looked sharp in the main on his first league start back from injury, but misjudgement in the challenge left Carlisle with a retrieval mission.
TYLER BUREY – 6
Pressed Bromley well in first-half spells and kept giving Blues decent width without truly hurting the hosts, before his withdrawal.
CAMERON HARPER – 7
A very tidy midfield performance, Harper – normally found on the left – used the ball calmly and linked things well in the centre.
CALLUM GUY – 7
This was a game requiring maximum commitment and Guy never brings less than that. A wholehearted 97-minute showing from the midfielder.
DOMINIC SADI – 7
Sadi took up many of United’s best attacking positions and had the majority of their attempts on goal. Needed a more clinical edge, but kept going to the end and showed great responsibility and quality on the ball.
KADEEM HARRIS – 7
His quality was evident once more as he dropped into spaces, turned and gave Bromley regular problems before he was subbed on 67 minutes.
DANIEL ADU-ADJEI – 7
It looked like being a frustrating day for the young striker, whose willing front-running failed to come off – until injury-time, when he took a splendid striker’s goal.
Subs: Taylor Charters – 6 – Could have won it at the death.
Jack Ellis – 6 – Joined in the late salvo.
Josh Vela – 6 – Kept battling as United fought back.
Luke Armstrong – 6 – Fresh legs in late effort.
Star man – Callum Guy – Harris was outstanding for 67 minutes and, next to Guy, Cameron Harper gave a very sound display. But Guy's midfield showing was full of commitment and endeavour and United are clearly a better side for his return.
