On the 28th of September 2024 Sad Girl Productions collated an amazing selection of songs from each era, full of excitement, dancing, and plenty of singing along.
It took place in New Wimbledon Theatre as a one-time only cabaret, celebrating the Eras Tour, and reminiscing on the unforgettable nights Taylor Swift spent in London.
Fans of the 14-time Grammy winner, decided to recreate their Eras Tour outfits, as cowboy boots and glittering dresses were seen all around.
Powerhouse presenter, Jade Johnson, lead the show and its lively atmosphere with her humour-based commentary, as well as singing and duetting in several performances.
Jessica Corrigan seemed to be a fan favourite with several young fans holding up their hands in the shape of a heart in hopes of gaining her attention, mirroring the joy of many Swifties at the Eras Tour.
The audience were caught by surprise when drag queen, Tiana Biscuit, made an appearance on stage performing “Love Story”, in a show-stopping costume, catching the eye of many Swifties.
The Eras Tour Cabaret seemed to be appealed to a diverse demographic, however it mainly consisted of 12-year-old girls and their unwilling mothers.
However, even young adults were delighted to partake in the incredible experience.
During the interval, when asked how she was finding the show, Isabel Bruce said that “My favourite era is Reputation, so as you may expect, I absolutely loved the performance of Getaway Car. I can’t wait for more Reputation songs in the second act!”
Up and coming artist Ella Fae, performed songs, “But Daddy I Love Him” and “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?”, drawing the attention of many Swifties as a must see artist.
Overall, this show was an absolute success for Sad Girl Productions, and an incredible watch for whose experiencing any post-tour blues, desperately refreshing their Ticketmaster for new dates in their area.
However, for those who are fans of the more known songs, and not so familiar to the unknown, unpopularised songs, this cabaret was probably not for you.
